a number of complaints are turn on camera back lcd screen is now off. and a number of complaints were with the card slipped between the screen and slot. GoPro does not admit to a defect they are now requesting those who have the black screen and or any issue to right away upload firmware. and make sure a recommended card is used.
Steps: 1 - Record a video in 4K for at least 1-2 minutes. 2 - Stop Recording. 3 - quickly go to the review screen and start watching the video you just recorded. 4 - quickly start recording a new video (straight from the review screen - do not go back to the live view screen) 5 - It should freeze.
