The RS is an easy bike to ride - light, easy handling, corners on rails and has multiple riding modes which will keep you safe. As long as you are not irreresponsible you will be fine. Buy the right bike the first time and be satisfied. Nothing worse than hating your bike.
Reading. #2 Feb 26, 2021. I went from a 2017 S with lowboy to a 2018 RS. Not much difference in the gearbox other than the up/down QS on the RS. The local Triumph dealer has a bunch of 2020 Street Triple R models that they are really trying to unload, so much so that the price for one is the same as the incoming Trident ($9000 CDN). I am sorely tempted by the Triple R, and have a test ride booked for this coming Thursday. I guess I am just looking for thoughts and feedback.
