Hi, I noticed that on all Opel/Vauxhall 1.3 CDTI engines, like the ones in Corsa and Combo Tour/Arizona models, the service interval is set to 30000 miles or 50000 km. If this is the same engine as Fiat's 1.3 Multijet, why would such a difference exist at all?

The one that is used with the 90hp engine has variable vanes and even if it looks similar it's totally different inside and the way it's managed by the ECU.
( remember not to accelerate unles is stated) start the engine let it to warm and wait for the cooling fan to come ON then OFF 3 times, like ON,OFF,ON,OFF,ON,OFF. After the fan cuts off the third time accelerate fully down let the engine rev up to 4000 only then leave the accelerator let the engine goes down back to idle, do this 3 times.the
I had a 1.3 Multijet Panda prior to my 1.9 Doblo and that gave good but not outstanding economy for a tiny city car at 57 mpg. The engine was super smooth but somehow felt wrong in a small car. People go on about the 16 valve multijet engine being smooth and revable but the last thing you want for economy is to rev the engine.
Aug 31, 2012. #5. Crank sensor would produce exactly this sort of problem but you should get a fault code telling you. Other factors are the air filter or air system being blocked or clogged. Enough air has got in to start it but once running it can't draw enough in. Same effect with a faulty EGR valve.
Hi I have a 2007 1.3 Multijet doblo van. I have been having intermittant problems with the engine light coming on and losing power if i accelerate too hard. I have been advised that the first port of call should be to clean the EGR. Could someone please give me a quick step by step guide
