Performance – For a 500cc twin, the Street 500 doesn’t win many races against its rivals. The power gets the job done, but it is far from the leader in the segment. The Street 500 is a good bike. Yes, it wears the Harley-Davidson badge, and it is a V-Twin engine, but this is not a traditional Harley-Davidson.

Motorcycle.com tested the 2011 model XR1200R Sportster, and the top speed attained by the bike was 122 mph. Older versions of the Sportster don't attain this speed. The ‘spine’ on the tank shouldn’t have been there. Couple of dark orange/red stripes (aka Nightrod) might take the unwanted attention away. The back also might look better with the stripes. A 13 litre tank is good for all purposes, though feels a bit low set on the bike.
